A three-day overnight excursion to Canberra has been organised for students in Year 6. This excursion supports our Stage 3 History unit of work ‘Australia as a Nation’ which will be studied in Semester 2. By visiting Canberra, students will develop a deeper understanding of our Australian history and identity and develop their understanding of Australian politics. In addition, this will be a fantastic experience and a great opportunity for students to interact with their peers and teachers in a less formal environment outside of their regular learning environment.
