Moving into Year 7
In NSW Government schools, applying to move from primary school to high school is a 2-step process:
The first step is to complete a Moving to high school expression of interest. When completing this form, you will be able to indicate which school(s) you would like your child to attend in Year 7.
The second step is to submit an enrolment application, which will be issued to you by the high school after they have assessed your expression of interest.
An Evening With The Teachers
Our annual Meet the Teacher evening is a valuable opportunity for parents and carers to connect with their child’s teacher and gain insight into the year ahead. During the session, teachers provide an overview of classroom routines, curriculum focus areas, and expectations for learning and behaviour.
The evening is designed to build strong partnerships between home and school, ensuring families feel informed, confident, and supported in their child’s learning journey. It is also a chance to ask general questions, understand how to support learning at home, and become familiar with the classroom environment.
We look forward to working together to create a positive and successful year for every student.
Behaviour Support and Management Plan
Our Behaviour Support and Management Plan outlines a strategic, whole-school approach to creating a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment for every student. It is built on a multi-tiered care continuum that supports all learners through a strong focus on prevention, early intervention, and targeted and individual support where needed.
The plan sets high expectations for student behaviour, aligned with the Behaviour Code for Students, and ensures consistency across the school. Staff explicitly model, teach, recognise and reinforce positive behaviours so that students understand what it means to be respectful, responsible and safe members of our school community.
It also provides clear and effective strategies to identify, prevent and respond to disruptive behaviours, including bullying and cyberbullying, as well as behaviours of concern when they arise. Importantly, the plan emphasises early support and proactive approaches to help students succeed.
We value strong partnerships with families and outline clear expectations for parents and carers to engage with the school in supporting positive behaviour, in line with the School Community Charter.
